Bids will be advertised in the local paper, on the City's website and on Vendor Registry. Bids will be opened and publicly read no less that 10 days after being advertised. Business License

All businesses operating in the City of East Ridge must obtain a local business license when conducting business in the city limits of East Ridge. If the applicant is applying for a business license in a commercial building, applicants must first schedule a Fire and Life Safety Inspection. All code violations shall be corrected prior to the issuance of a new business license.

Solicitor's Permit for Door-to-Door Sales

Pursuant to Ordinance No. 978, all solicitors going door-to-door must obtain a Solicitor's Permit. You may go to City Hall to fill out the Solicitor's Permit application, or print the application, fill it out and and bring it to City Hall.
