As the Building Inspection and Code Enforcement team for the City of East Ridge, our mission is to implement the codes necessary to provide a safe and healthy neighborhood environment for our residents while maintaining the high property values that have made East Ridge a desirable area for residential and commercial development.
The Building Maintenance Department is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and efficient operation of all City-owned buildings and facilities. Services include renovations, system installations, general repairs, and ongoing monitoring of infrastructure across all municipal properties.
The department is staffed by a skilled team of professionals with expertise in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry. Through a proactive approach that includes preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, the team works to extend the life of City assets, reduce long-term costs, and ensure safe, functional environments for staff and the public.
